How does it work?
The Apollo Bucket Elevator enables you to transport products in both a horizontal and vertical direction. In the horizontal part below, the series of buckets will be filled with the product that has to be transported. Afterwards, the series of buckets transport the product in a vertical direction. The range of elevator buckets then continues in a horizontal direction. The horizontal part contains an area where the buckets can discharge the materials. The machine enables this by directing the buckets over an unloading skate. At this point the buckets will be turned upside down and will be emptied. Afterwards, the buckets are vertically conveyed back to the original position where they are ready to be filled again in the horizontal part.
What type of product is it suited for?
Bucket Elevators are very well suited to convey bulk materials of a broad range. It mostly concerns materials that require gentle handling. Think of products in industries like food, agriculture, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. The Bucket Elevator is also suited to handle products in the chemical, ceramic, glass, recycling, building and metallurgy industries. Examples are bulk materials like grains, coffee, sugar and seeds. Bucket Elevators are also used to convey sweets, rice beans, pet food, peanuts, flakes, tea and many more!

Even a combination of these models is possible. Besides these main models, other models and types can be made as well. There are different versions of these models depending on capacity and configurations.
