As the APOLLO Group celebrates their 175th birthday, they get to wear the Royal Crown!
In februari 2022, viert de APOLLO Group niet alleen haar 175ste verjaardag, maar mag zij ook mededelen dat zij titel ‘Royal APOLLO’ mag dragen.

Deze hooggewaardeerde titel past als een kroon op de kernwaarde die al sinds de eerste van den Pol generatie hoog in het vaandel staat en de APOLLO Group zo sterk heeft gemaakt: continuïteit.
Om in aanmerking te komen voor het Predicaat Koninklijk, de oudste Koninklijke onderscheiding in Nederland, moet een organisatie een zeer vooraanstaande positie innemen binnen haar vakgebied, van nationaal belang zijn en minimaal honderd jaar bestaan. Er wordt rekening gehouden met de omvang van het bedrijf, de bedrijfsvoering, het personeelsbestand en de omzet. De Koning zelf is het enige formele instituut dat bevoegd is om de aanwijzing te verlenen. Het predicaat is een symbool van respect, de waardering en het vertrouwen van de Koning. Onder andere een goede reputatie, onberispelijk gedrag en financiële soliditeit zijn vereisten om deze status te verkrijgen.
English: The predicate announces an acknowledgment from the King of Holland - For having a good reputation and symbolizes the respect, valuation, and trust of the King. An impeccable reputation and financial stability are mandatory to receive this honor.
To be eligible for such a distinguished honor, an organization must hold a highly prominent position within its field, be of national significance, and have been in existence for at least a hundred years. The size of the company, its operational management, its workforce, and its revenue are all taken into account. The King of Holland himself is the only entity authorized to confer this designation.
This distinguished title fits like a crown on the core values which we have held high since the first-generation ‘van den Pol’. CONTINUITY... It is what has made the APOLLO Group as strong as it is today.
Met Claudia van den Pol (zesde generatie) aan het roer is de APOLLO Group de afgelopen jaren uitgegroeid tot een internationaal bedrijf in een nichemarkt. Met productielocaties in Coevorden, Thailand en de Verenigde Staten, verkoopkantoren en servicecentra in China en India kan zij de hele wereld bedienen. Dit predicaat is voor de APOLLO Group van ongekende toegevoegde waarde. Het opnemen van de Koninklijke Kroon in het logo en het toevoegen van ‘Koninklijke’ is van internationale allure en kan de toekomstige banden met nieuwe partners over de hele wereld ten goede komen.
Door het jarenlang continu in beweging zetten van mensen, de markt en natuurlijk de producten, hebben alle generaties & medewerkers hun aandeel gehad in wat in 2022 uiteindelijk voor deze Koninklijke eer heeft gezorgd. Al jarenlang zorgt Royal APOLLO Group ervoor dat merken als Coca-Cola en Tesla via transportsystemen door fabrieken rollen. In februari 2022 bereikt Royal APOLLO Group de mijlpaal van 175 jaar en is het, als een van Nederlands oudste familiebedrijven, al 6 generaties lang in handen van Familie Van den Pol.
For many years the Royal APOLLO Group makes sure that brands like Coca-Cola and Tesla roll through their factories by using APOLLO machines. In February 2022 Royal APOLLO reached the milestone of 175 years in business. It is one of the oldest Dutch family businesses, in the hands of the family van den Pol for 6 generations.

Na diverse functies binnen het familiebedrijf te hebben bekleed kon Claudia het bedrijf 6 jaar geleden overnemen. Met haar duidelijke visie heeft zij het bedrijf naar een hoger level weten te tillen. Claudia is de helft van haar tijd op reis. Het internationale bedrijf heeft vestigingen van Shanghai tot de United States. Overal waar Claudia zich laat zien wordt zij opgemerkt. In de mannenwereld is zij een graag geziene partner. ‘Samen met alle fantastische medewerkers ben ik van plan de wereld te veroveren’, zegt ze zelfverzekerd.
Woman in a man’s world
6 years ago Claudia took over the company, after several different functions within the family company. With her clear vision, she was able to take the company to a higher level. Now she is traveling around the world half of the time. The international company has branches from Shanghai to the United States. Everywhere Claudia makes a presence she is noticed. She is a very welcome partner in this predominantly man-dominated market. She confidently proclaims: “Together with all our fantastic employees, I am planning to conquer the world”.
De meest bekende merken over de band
De variatie in productgroepen maakt dat iedereen, zonder het te weten, dagelijks te maken heeft met Royal APOLLO Group. De M&M’s die je hebt gegeten zijn door de Bekerelevatoren gegaan, Amazon en Picnic pakketten gaan over de Spiraalconveyors om uiteindelijk op weg te gaan naar jouw huis. Royal APOLLO Group ontwikkelt en verkoopt deze transportsystemen voor de food & beverage industrie evenals e-commerce, warehousing en interne logistiek. De machines brengen producten horizontaal, maar ook van boven naar beneden door fabrieken.
The most well-known brands over our conveyors
The diversity in our product range makes it that everybody, without actually knowing it, has an affiliation with Royal APOLLO Group on a daily basis. The M&M’s which you ate went through a Bucket Elevator, the Amazon and Picnic parcels went over our Spiral Conveyors to eventually find your home. Royal APOLLO Group designs and sells these transportation systems for the food and beverage industries as well as e-commerce, warehousing, and internal logistics. Our machines transport products horizontally, and from top to bottom through factories.
175 jaar groei
Het bedrijf begon in 1847 als smederij te Nijkerk. Nu, jaren later, telt het bedrijf ruim 200 werknemers en zit de multinational gevestigd in Coevorden. Daar zijn ruim de helft van alle medewerkers met passie aan de slag. In Thailand opende Royal APOLLO onder leiding van Claudia in 2017 een productielocatie. Tevens werden er in 2017 in China en in 2020 in India een verkoop- en servicekantoor geopend. Sinds in 2021 ook Ryson International (Noord- en Zuid-Amerika) aan de groep werd toegevoegd, gaat het veroveren van de wereld in sneltreinvaart! Royal APOLLO Group is dankbaar en trots op deze prachtige groei, en kijkt uit naar de volgende 175 jaar.
175 years of growth
The company started in 1847 as a blacksmith in Nijkerk. Now, years later, the company has more than 200 employees and the multinational company is based in Coevorden where half of all our employees work with passion on the machines. In charge of Royal APOLLO Group, Claudia opened a production facility in Thailand in 2017. Royal APOLLO also opened a sales office in China in 2017 and in India 2020. Now they both have a service center also. In 2021 Ryson International (North and South America) was also added to the Group. Presently, the Royal APOLLO Group is working on further expansion and Royal APOLLO Group is looking forward to the next 175 Years!
